Memorial Services For DISGORGE Bassist To Be Held Next Week
January 7, 2008Memorial services for late DISGORGE bassist Benjamin Lee Marlin will be held on January 17, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Moose Lodge in North Escondido, California. "Family and friends have set up a pot luck memorial to celebrate the life of our late brother, and have extended the invitation to those whom he has touched across the extreme music scene abroad," the surviving members of DISGORGE write in a statement. "We thank everyone for the worldwide support, showing Ben's family how much he was loved by our scene."

Ben Marlin passed away on January 2, 2008 after nearly a year and a half of battling cancer.
DISGORGE released its fourth album, "Paralells of Infinite Torture", in May 2005 via Crash Music Inc. The band had previously released two albums through the Unique Leader label (1999's "She Lay Gutted" and 2001's "Consume the Forsaken") and a collection of demos through Extremities Productions (1999's "Cranial Impalement").
